My dealer put wrong oil in my 1999 BMW M3. Started hearing lifter noise right away. Tap tap tapping at cold starts. Used Prolibe for the first time in this 27 year old car with 42k miles and tapping stopped right away. Will use on every oil change from now on. I was skeptical, but those test that he does I’m the videos sold me so I ordered. When I got it in the mail, I put it in my car halfway through an oil change, and I noticed the MPG‘s higher than I ever saw. I thought it was a fluke. I was taking a trip to Connecticut and I changed my oil just before I left and added 4 ounces of Prolube and I noticed I could go farther until I had to stop for fuel! So I double checked everything on my way home and sure enough my car registered MPG‘s that I had never seen on my car on the first tank. I avg. 36mpg on over 500 miles! the second tank. I got 35.2 I had a detour then two hours of torrential rain of going between 20 and 40 mph.. this was all highway mileage plus or minus 70 mpg and no a/c except for when in traffic, the trip was over *****.
I have a 2006 Honda Accord sedan with the V6 3.0 and six speed manual transmission, 170,000 miles on the oil change before the trip, I changed my oil every 5000 miles since I bought the car in 2006 the window sticker mileage was stated at 21 City 31 highway

If you are a skeptic like me you need to read this. I run a ranch with tractors, feed trucks and service vehicles along with several UTV’s. I service all my own equipment and have used fuel additives and synthetic oil. After using Prolube I absolutely noticed a difference in every engine I added it to. They were quieter and even got better gas mileage. I am very pleased with Prolube and will keep it as part of my servicing routine.

What can I expect on my 1st oil change with Prolube Oil Treatment?
After your first oil change you can expect your oil to be darker and the following oil changes will stay cleaner longer with each use as it removes deposits. While every engine is different, most engines will experience smoother & quieter operation.
How often should I use Prolube Oil Treatment?
To maintain the products benefits we recommend adding Prolube to every oil change.
How much Prolube do I add to my oil?
Treatment Ratio:
- Engine (1 oz of Prolube / 1 quart motor oil) For best results, use 2 oz of Prolube / 1 quart motor oil
- Differentials (2 oz of Prolube to 1 quart of gear oil)
- Transfer Case (2 oz of Prolube / 1 quart of oil)
- Power Steering Pump (1-2 oz of Prolube / 1 quart of oil)
- Automatic Transmission: 2 oz MAX of Prolube Oil Treatment
- Manual Transmission: 1 oz of Prolube / 1 quart of transmission fluid
Do I need to drain some oil out before adding Prolube Oil Treatment?
When adding Prolube Oil Treatment to used oil, make sure there is room by draining some oil out beforehand. Make sure not to add Prolube Oil Treatment to an already full crankcase, doing so will exceed your engines maximum oil capacity and can cause engine damage. If your dipstick shows that the oil is below the maximum mark, you can usually add Prolube without draining oil out.
Is Prolube Oil Treatment compatible with regular and synthetic oil?
Yes, Prolube is suitable for use in both synthetic and conventional engine oil.
Is it OK to use Prolube Oil Treatment in motorcycles with wet clutches?
Yes, use 1 oz of Prolube per quart of engine oil in motorcycles with wet clutches. Check the owner's manual beforehand to ensure it does not specify against the use of friction modifiers.
- Metal-to-fiber wet clutches is OK ✅
- Metal-to-metal wet clutches is NOT OK ❌
Will Prolube Oil Treatment void my warranty?
No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act allows consumers to use additives of their choice without voiding their warranty except for specific additives that have been noted as incompatible. Vehicle manufacturers are not allowed to void the vehicle warranty just because aftermarket parts or additives are on or in a vehicle.
Should my motor be broken-in prior to using Prolube Oil Treatment?
Yes, new engines need friction. We recommend following your engine manufacturer's break-in period before adding Prolube Oil Treatment.
How should I store Prolube Oil Treatment?
To maintain product quality throughout its shelf life, Prolube Oil Treatment should be stored:
- In the original container with the lid tightly closed.
- In a cool, dry, well-ventilated location.
- Protected from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, and sources of contamination.
- Away from incompatible materials such as strong oxidizers and ignition sources.
Shelf life is based on product retained in its original packaging and stored under the conditions specified above. Product quality beyond the stated shelf life has not been verified by Prolube and should be evaluated prior to use. This shelf life statement is subject to revision based on ongoing product stability testing, quality verification, or formulation changes.
