Eliminates cold start issues especially with HEUI injector misfires in 6.0L & 7.3L Power Strokes. Use to extend engine life, protect from excessive wear, reduce oil consumption, prevent oil breakdown, lower oil temperatures, raise oil pressure and increase MPG. Blends with all types of conventional and synthetic motor oils.
    Directions

Simply add Prolube Oil Treatment to engine. Use 1 oz Prolube Oil Treatment / 1 quart motor oil. High-Mileage and Heavy-Duty engines add 3 oz of Prolube / 1 quart motor oil. Use with each oil change. For best results, use 2 oz of Prolube Oil Treatment / 1 quart of motor oil.

    • 5 quart (car): 5 oz of Prolube
    • 15 quarts (truck): 15 oz of Prolube
    • 60 quarts (semi): 60 oz Prolube

(Example: A 2023 Honda Civic takes around 5 quarts of oil. The correct amount of Prolube Oil Treatment for that vehicle is 5 oz).

    FAQs

How often should I use Prolube Oil Treatment?

To maintain the products benefits we recommend adding Prolube to every oil change.

How much Prolube do I add to my oil?

    Treatment Ratio:

    • Engine (1 oz of Prolube / 1 quart motor oil) For best results, use 2 oz of Prolube / 1 quart motor oil
    • Heavy Duty/High-Mileage (3 oz / 1 quart motor oil)
    • Differentials (1 oz of Prolube to 1 quart of gear oil)
    • Gearbox (1 oz of Prolube / 1 quart of oil)
    • Power Steering Pump (1 oz of Prolube / 1 quart of oil)
    • Automatic Transmission: 2 oz MAX of Prolube Oil Treatment
    • Manual Transmission: 1 oz of Prolube / 1 quart of transmission fluid
Do I need to drain some oil out before adding Prolube Oil Treatment?

When adding Prolube Oil Treatment to used oil, make sure there is room by draining some oil out beforehand. Make sure not to add Prolube Oil Treatment to an already full crankcase, doing so will exceed your engines maximum oil capacity and can cause engine damage. If your dipstick shows that the oil is below the maximum mark, you can usually add Prolube without draining oil out.

Is Prolube Oil Treatment compatible with regular and synthetic oil?

Yes. Prolube is suitable for use in both synthetic and conventional engine oil.

Is it OK to use Prolube Oil Treatment in motorcycles with wet clutches?

Yes, use 1 oz of Prolube per quart of engine oil in motorcycles with wet clutches. Check the owner's manual beforehand to ensure it does not specify against the use of friction modifiers.

Will Prolube Oil Treatment void my warranty?

No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act allows consumers to use additives of their choice without voiding their warranty except for specific additives that have been noted as incompatible. Vehicle manufacturers are not allowed to void the vehicle warranty just because aftermarket parts or additives are on or in a vehicle.

Should my motor be broken in prior to using Prolube?

Yes, we recommend following your engine manufacturer's break-in period before adding Prolube Oil Treatment.

      Happy customer

Since I been using prolube I’ve noticed better fuel mileage and also a smoother running engine. I’ve only slightly used the grease so far but what I have used it on seem to move a lot easier

      Like a charm

Ive only just introduced prolube to.... well... everything. So I cannot give a long term review. That said, ive introduced prolube to my 98 chevy 2500, 454ci engine oil at the oil change. Ive driven 2000 miles on this oil change thus far, i belive the engine is running more smooth with far less clicking and ticking noises from the engine. Upon cold start up the enginge comes to idle more quickly, the oil pressure is nearly perfect. Prior to prolube the oil pressure was erratic, there were odd ticking noises (mechanic couldnt find any dammage associated with ticking) and the engine would idle a bit rough.

The grease has only been introduced to the ball joints so far. I cant wait to use the grease on the tractor bucket and pins.

To date I have no reason to doubt prolube, ill continue to use it with the hope it prolongs the life of my equiptment, engines, and other lube requirements.
