I have several high mileage vehicles of all kinds. It’s nice having the peace of mind feeling they are better protected. From doing my own personal research I can’t disprove any of their claims or advertising. I definitely feel comfortable with their product and I recommend it to my friends. I’m even adding it to my jet car.

My first experience with Prolube was at work. We have an industrial gearbox on a large electric motor. The gear box drives a cutter for beveling the ends of large steel pipe. It drives on two 3 speed straight cut gear sets. One set was shifted while stopped and the motor turning. The teeth were sheared smooth off two pair of gears and deposited in the bottom of the transmission. After removing the debris and oil from the transmission, we ran the system by hand in the remaining gear pair. It was a bit grumbly but serviceable. We refilled the transmission with oil and operated. Still grumbled but not louder under load than unloaded. Next we added Prolube and the whine of the secondary gears as well as the grumbling reduced to quiet gear whirring.

At my usual oil change interval with my ‘04 TDI I added Prolube with the new oil and filter. I have run VW 4 cylinder diesels since 1980. All of them have a specific rattle, especially with the engine vanity cover and hood blanket removed. After starting my bug in my metal barn, the idle rattle disappeared within seconds of startup. I normally get a longer than normal startup noise after oil and filter change. Not this day!!! Subsequent cold starts were as quiet as rapid run, kill, and restart sequences. I have a very efficient coolant thermostat, my coolant still runs at the same temperature as before, but takes miles more to reach regulated temperature.
